Biofuels, or better, agrofuels, have been presented as the solution for the environmental problems produced by fossil fuels, but they are not. New evidence appears every day to prove that its production and combustion generate or have the potential to generate, if nothing is done to set the necessary control and mitigation policies, acute environmental, public health, social, economic and mechanic problems.
